Meet your Author & Editor
Nicole and Maria have been serving children and families together operating a local preschool that has been a pillar in the community for 25 years. They are also the founders of a nonprofit organization called The Children’s Alliance of Florida, providing clothing, supplies and other resources to children in the foster system.
Through their experiences working with children, they know that what may not seem like a challenge to grown-ups can sometimes be an experience of conquering fears and realizing inner strength for young children. Through the I Was Brave Today! series, they hope to make milestone events and transitions a little easier for children.
